fedora 9 沒有 kudzu(自動偵測新硬體)
今天在裝 fedora 9 時,因為將裝好的硬碟拿到同型的電腦安裝,結果竟然抓不到網卡,想要用 kudzu 偵測,竟然找不到,找google中文網竟然都找不到,試找英文才找到說明,原來 fedora 9 以後已經不用 kudzu ,而要啟動 udev (負責動態維護/dev),messagebus (服務負責在各個系統進程之間傳遞消息),haldaemon,然後看一下 /var/log/dmesg ,看看將 eth* 改成 eth?,建一下 /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth? ,然後啟動 /sbin/ifup eth? 就可以了

今天在網上找到為什麼會被改 eth* ,原來它多了 /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules 的檔案,記憶了出現過的網卡,所以只好一直往後取 eth? , 一種是將不要的砍掉,將要的mac調一下,另一種是將它清掉,重新設起就可以了

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own blog and was curious what all is required to get set up?
